hey, that is a great list. a lot of classic movies are on.
Snatch, Memento, Requiem for a Dream... i love your hair btw.
requiem for a dream, waking life, kids
I liked National Treasure. Or either of the tomb raider movies. Well, OK, most anything with Angelina in it.
American beauty? Isn't that the one where the old guy gets his brains blown out at the end? and by whom? his wife or the girl? I never did understand that part.
Dear Hollis,
You don't know me. I just surfed over here from the video link on Dan's (the Theologian's Cafe) site. I loved your dancing videos, and also your video blogs. At the risk of sounding like a dirty old man. (I turn 54 next week) I agree with your "profile name" wholeheartedly.
Seriously, although the image gets fuzzy on some of your video blogs, your presentation is good and your personality is fantastic. I could see you as a movie star in the near future.
Hope your wishes and dreams all come true. I really enjoyed a couple of the videos of you dancing and gave them 5 stars. (although I'm commenting here on the blog and not the videos.
I rarely visit those who are not in my own "readership" these days but I'm out promoting my latest video this weekend and was intrigued enough by you to drop a comment. Your prom dress vid was cute too.
In order to stop the fuzziness, you should set your camera to "manual" instead of "auto" if you're moving around. The camera looks like it is "automatically" adjusting.
Take care, and keep dancing.

Dear Hollis,
Oh, almost forgot to comment on your entry. My bad.
"Fifth Element" , "Moulin Rouge", and "The Illusionist" are all great films as far as I'm concerned. I wrote a review of American Beauty when it came out suggesting that it win the Academy Award, and it did. (Not because of "moi" but I saw it's potential early on.

Higher Learning and Point Break!!
Hey Hollis, its that idiotic Kare again. I absolutley LOVE Forrest Gump. Apparently, if you have not seen it, Little Miss Sunshine is supposed to be EXCELLENT, according to critics and family members. My parents however, forbid me to watch it at this point in time, where I have had....fits, to put it kindly. I'm a drama queen, I admit it! I agreee with (WAit as I scroll up to find the name!) casey_at_bat (Hey, gotta love that poem/book), National Treasure is a good movie. I love Riley! It annoys me that Ben (Nicolas Cage) gets the girl, though. I have a couple of good TV shows, not as many movies. Some GREAT television (I'm amazed I can spell it, as I use TV so much) I love THe Office - uber hilarious, and great portrayal of different characteristics and...just plain funny. Numb3rs - kind of like a CSI, but cooler. Its about 2 brothers, DOn a FBI agent, and CHarlie (the younger one) who is a brainiac mathimitician and etc. Really cool. And you know, other normal, boring, but wonderful shows. I'll stop on this UBER (new word of today) long comment,

Point Break is the best Keanu Reeves move ever!
Anyways here are some recent favorites of mine:
Me and You and Everyone We Know
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
City of God
Smoking Aces
Idiocracy
Bottle Rocket
Enjoy!
